Thoughtful EMDR Consultation for Clinicians

Supporting Therapists in EMDR Practice

Developing Confidence & Presence

My hope is to help clinicians move beyond simply “doing the protocol” and toward developing confidence in their own clinical instincts and presence within the work. EMDR is not meant to feel rigid or performative. Over time, I want consultees to feel more connected to the flow of the process, more trusting of their ability to navigate complexity, and more equipped to remain grounded when clients present with blocks, dissociation, preverbal trauma, or ongoing traumatic experiences.

Fidelity & Flexibility

What I hope to impart through consultation is a way of practicing EMDR that is both grounded and deeply human. While I value fidelity to the Standard Protocol and remaining well-rooted in the 8 phases, I also view EMDR as an artful and collaborative process that requires curiosity, flexibility, and attunement to the unique needs of each client.

Growth & Collaboration

I strive to create a consultation space that feels supportive, thoughtful, and collaborative. Consultation can feel intimidating, especially when clinicians are carrying difficult cases or questioning whether they are “doing it right.” My goal is not perfection, but growth. I want therapists to feel safe bringing uncertainty, curiosity, and questions into the room so that consultation becomes a space for learning rather than performance.

Relationship: The Heart of the Work

I also hope to impart the importance of staying connected to the person behind the diagnosis or presenting concern. EMDR is a powerful modality, but at the heart of the work is still relationship, safety, and attunement. I believe meaningful shifts happen when clinicians learn how to balance structure with responsiveness—remaining grounded in the model while honoring the complexity of the human experience.

Who Is It For?

Consultation is available for clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training and the initial 10 hours of consultation, those seeking additional support with case conceptualization, complex presentations, or deepening their confidence in EMDR practice.

Whether you are feeling stuck with a case, navigating dissociation or developmental trauma, or simply wanting a more grounded and relational approach to EMDR, consultation is designed to support your growth as a clinician.

If you are looking for a collaborative and supportive space to deepen your EMDR practice, I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
